Website launched for charity funding

A new website has been launched which will help charities and voluntary organisations to gain funding from the government.
Futurebuilders England has launched the online tool which means paper applications for its £215 million investment fund will be discarded in favour of the new system.
The resource will also have information such a success stories, application resources and a loan repayment calculator for third-sector organisations.
Gill Nunn, market development director at Futurebuilders, says: "[We] hope that the customer-focused content will encourage more third-sector organisations to find out about Futurebuilders and consider loan finance as a viable funding option."
She adds that the current financial situation is ideal for people to be looking at alternative funding options and is optimistic the new facility will encourage more people to do so.
Futurebuilders England offers loans at a rate of six per cent interest to third-sector organisations and has so far helped over 300 such groups.
