Local law firm don their running shoes for Gerrards Cross Fun Run

Thames Valley law firm B P Collins is proud to announce that it is one of the lead sponsors for The Gerrards Cross Fun Run being held on Sunday 18 May.

The main feature of the event is a 5km run, starting at 11.00am, around the memorial centre and the Gerrards Cross East Common. Throughout the day families can enjoy a variety of entertainment, including music, inflatables, hair styling as well as food stalls. Over the past 6 years, the event has grown to become the village's biggest community fund raising event and this is the second time that B P Collins has been a key sponsor.

The firm's presence will be hard to miss on the day, with solicitors and staff competing in the race and are currently in training. They intend to raise additional funds for the two nominated charities: The Teenage Cancer Trust and the Sunrise Cancer Unit at High Wycombe Hospital. B P Collins staff are also donating their spare time on the day to manage and co-ordinate the children's inflatable activity slides based on the main village common.

Ian Johnson, Senior Partner, commented: 'We are delighted to be involved again with this event and pride ourselves on supporting the local community. The day will be a marvellous way for the whole family to have fun and to raise much needed funds for the two charities."

The race is expected to attract up to 1500 runners, and will be started by TV funny man Brian Conley who will no doubt add sparkle to the event, whilst ensuring that enjoyment is at the centre of this great family day out.
