B P Collins Solicitors is delighted to announce the appointment of David Buckle and David Smellie as partners. The new promotions grow the partnership to 21.
David Buckle who originally joined the firm in 2001 is a key member of the firm's highly respected team of dedicated employment lawyers. He acts for both corporate and private clients in contentious and non-contentious matters, as well as specialising in employee benefits, share schemes, corporate support and transaction work.
David Smellie joined the firm in March 2007 having previously been a partner at city firm, Davies Arnold Cooper. David has over 20 years of commercial legal experience and increases the corporate and commercial team's partner strength to five. He specialises in M&A transactions, investments into growing businesses, shareholders' agreements and disputes and a wide mix of other general commercial work.
In addition Sue Deacon (Property), Diane Gill and Victoria Holland (Corporate and commercial), Sarah Jackson and Craig Williams (Litigation and dispute resolution) and James Townsend (Employment) are promoted to senior associate.
