Notary services
Our experience »
Many legal documents for use in the UK and abroad require the signature and stamp of a Notary Public. Occasionally you will also need these services for authentication of personal documents, and knowing that one is available near to you is reassuring. Notaries are members of the oldest branch of the legal profession and are appointed and regulated by the Faculty Court of the Archbishop of Canterbury.
The role of the notary is to verify the identity, authority, capacity and the will of the person appearing before him and to authenticate the event or the fact that is presented to him. There are only ten notaries in Buckinghamshire, two of them are solicitors at B P Collins. We are easily accessible to clients, and often available at short notice for critical matters. We are also able to advise on documentation relating to immigration and residence matters, such as sponsors forms and certificates.
