TT racer's widow considering legal action

The widow of a motorcyclist killed while racing on the Isle of Man is considering taking legal action against the organisers of the event.
Marc Ramsbotham, 34, died while competing in the Isle of Man TT in June 2007 in an incident that also led to the deaths of two spectators.
The Norfolk Eastern Daily Press reports that during the inquest into the deaths earlier this year, coronor Michael Moyle criticised the management of the event, claiming there had been "considerable and wholesale failings in the system designed to ensure the safety of spectators was paramount".
Sarah Ramsbotham told the newspaper she was considering taking legal action over the accident.
"I am going to look into what the options are and am taking legal advice," she explained.
"I have approached a solicitor and will see what advice they give me before deciding what to do next."
During the inquest, Adrian Earnshaw, head of the TT organising committee, said the island's government had chosen to review its policies and practices.
The Isle of Man TT marked its centenary year in 2007 and although it lost its world championship status in 1977, organisers claim the time trial has become a "haven for real road race specialists".
