Tim is a graduate of Cambridge University, was called to the Bar in 1965 and practiced at the specialist tax bar in the late 1960s. After a spell as a dairy farmer, Tim joined B P Collins in 1984, becoming a partner in 1988.
Tim combines a strategic role on the firm's Board with serving his loyal and long-standing client base gained over 20 years in the corporate and commercial field. Involved principally in M&A work, he combines an enthusiasm for understanding his clients' businesses and commercial objectives with a pragmatic approach to meeting their expectations. He has particular experience and interest in the waste management and environmental sectors.
Tim speaks German and his hobbies include historic motor racing and rallying, golf and the theatre.

Michael Larcombe

Michael worked in central government before entering private practice in 1991. After six years with a noted City law firm where he specialised in institutional investment work and general landlord and tenant law, he joined B P Collins in 1997.
Michael has since built up a broad-based commercial property practice acting for industrial and commercial investors and occupiers, clients in the aggregates and waste industries, property entrepreneurs and developers. Michael has been recognised as a leading individual in the Thames Valley for real estate law by Chambers UK, A Client's Guide to the UK Legal Profession 2008.

David Pritchard

David graduated from Cambridge University in 1982. After military service with the 9th/12th Lancers and a spell as a credit and political risks insurance broker at Lloyd's of London, he qualified in 1990 as a solicitor with Simmons & Simmons in the City. In 1995, he moved to B P Collins and now specialises in intellectual property and shareholder disputes, has valuable experience in the Chancery and commercial courts, as well as acting in arbitrations, adjudications and appeals, often with an overseas dimension.
Throughout his work, David places emphasis on carefully integrating specialist counsel, expert witnesses and clients, promoting teamwork and concurrency of action. David has led his team in a number of reported cases, including the Appeal Court ruling in Fairfax Gerrard v Capital Bank and High Court decisions on Oxford Legal Group Ltd v Sibbasbridge Services plc, Battlebridge Group Ltd v Hoyer Miller and Singh v Anand.
David is a CEDR-trained mediator, a strong advocate of alternative dispute resolution and takes pride in the many successful mediations he has guided clients through. David is also independently recommended for his dispute resolution services in the Thames Valley region by The Legal 500.
David is a non-executive director of a manufacturing company that is the holder of a Queen's Award for Innovation.

Alex Zachary

Alex trained at B P Collins and qualified in 1999, before becoming a partner in 2007. Alex leads substantial M&A transactions as well as undertaking a wide mix of corporate and commercial work, with a particular emphasis on the technology and environmental sectors, while taking primary responsibility for the team's knowledge management.
Technically astute, a very strong negotiator and sympathetic to client needs, Alex manages a number of key client relationships.
A keen sportsman, Alex is a regular footballer, occasional golfer and a long suffering Tottenham Hotspur supporter.
Sue Deacon
Senior Associate
Sue graduated with an LLB (Hons), qualified in 2004 and joined B P Collins from Allen & Overy in 2006. Sue deals with commercial property matters, involving shops, factories and warehouses for a spectrum of clients, including charities, individuals and businesses. When not at work she enjoys travelling, drawing and painting, reading and going to the gym.
Diane Gill
Senior Associate
Diane graduated from the University of Newcastle in 2000 with an LLB (Hons), trained at B P Collins and qualified in October 2003. Diane's experience covers a broad range of corporate and commercial matters. She advises on business acquisitions and disposals, cross-border corporate re-organisations and restructuring and general commercial contracts. Diane has a special interest in and is a member of both the environment team and the charities team. Outside work, Diane rows and coxes at Staines Boat Club, enjoys travelling and skiing.
Harriet Pitblado
Associate
Harriet graduated from the University of Liverpool with an LLB (Hons) in 2005, trained at B P Collins and qualified in October 2008 as a corporate and commercial solicitor. She advises on a range of commercial and contractual matters and is involved in business acquisitions and disposals. Harriet has a particular interest in and is a member of both the environment and information technology teams. Outside work, Harriet enjoys going to the gym, cooking, and trying to improve her tennis serve.
